We’re also impressed by their team of experts who continue to provide quality performances, especially with over 25 services to choose from. 

Among the team, Amanda Chui caught our eye because she does most of the services and regulars or past clients usually refer their friends to her. 

We commend her for doing thorough consultations to learn more about your situation and needs. From what we gathered, you can even rely on her even if you have no idea of your current skin situation, and we appreciate that she doesn’t take advantage of your vulnerability.

So whether you need a dermaplaning, a laser treatment or a simple cleansing and moisturizing, she’ll let you know and inform you during your consultation.

However, we’ve noted that their communication isn’t as consistent as we’d hoped, and some clients wait for more than two days to get a call or reply to their concerns.

We also noticed that their services are slightly pricier than others, such as a facial consultation starting at $75, exclusive of product purchases less than $150.

Despite that, we have to give props to Beauty Room for being an all-in-one destination for relaxation, rejuvenation, and self-care.

At Violet & Co., clients can expect personalized, results-driven beauty treatments.

One of their greatest strengths is their experienced beauty professionals who stay updated on the latest techniques and products from reputable brands—and we think this is what contributes to their good results!

And speaking of staying updated, we like that they utilize state-of-the-art technology for their treatments that produce little to no pain, especially with medical esthetics.

From our surveys, Violet Tarabay is mentioned and referred to most of the time with praises, such as being extremely attentive and observant of how your skin reacts and what you need. And she’s known to shake off your newbie jitters after the initial consultation.

Fortunately, Violet and the rest of the team continue to prove their top-notch aftercare or follow-up services. We also think it’s thoughtful that clients leave with a care package for healing, and you can easily text her for further concerns or questions.

Although, it’s quite a bummer that they don’t have mobile services, especially for their permanent makeup services.

On the other hand, we think it’s neat that they offer training programs for those looking to upgrade their skills or learn something new as an aesthetician or permanent makeup artist. Plus, they’ll launch an online academy soon to make it easier for you to join!

Overall, Violet & Co. is a solid choice for those who’re keen on receiving painless treatments and even picking up a new skill while you’re at it.

Next on our list is Suzie Cunningham, owner of Pink Avenue Skin Care in Toronto. This place caught our attention because of their reputation as a trusted specialized skin care clinic!

Impressively, Pink Avenue has been around since 1986 — that’s decades of experience under their belts!

As for their services, they have microcurrent facials, lash and brow, formulated skincare and mineral makeup essentials. We’re also impressed by their makeup essentials collection, which caters to various skin tones and sensitivities. 

What’s even cooler is that it has something for everyone — no parabens, made in Canada, hypo-allergenic, cruelty-free, even halal certified, won’t clog pores, and no annoying fragrances.

It’s also worth mentioning that Suzie has excellent bedside manners. She has a friendly and gentle approach regardless of the service or treatment you’re about to get. 

Also, she gets the most applause with her microcurrent facials, which —  from what we’ve heard — results in a more hydrated, lifted, youthful, and brighter skin than it ever was.

On top of that, we like that Pink Avenue offers dermatologist-formulated skincare for those who want to address the skin’s most common issues like aging, acne, dryness, sensitivity and more.

But, do note that they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays, so best book a suitable schedule that works for you, one that won’t require you to go out after, if possible. 

Lastly, we’re pleasantly surprised that Pink Avenue offers free online consultations. 

You simply send them photos and details about your skin, and they’ll email back with suggestions to help you improve your skin along with product suggestions — no obligation or purchases needed. Pretty great, eh?

Precision Esthetics Inc. offers a range of services, from electrolysis, dermaplaning and facials to lash tinting and makeup application and lessons. 

From our surveys, we found that Precision Esthetics’ owner and specialist Lynne Ryan is widely appreciated by her clients. This is all thanks to her pain-free treatments and expertise with makeup!

Precision Esthetics provides makeup applications and lessons, which we noted have been quite a success among their clients. For instance, most clients want the know-how on the products that will suit and complement their skin well and how to apply it efficiently.

On the downside, they don’t offer mobile makeup services, so you’ll have to visit them early to avoid getting late to your event.

And their makeup lessons are quite pricey, setting you back at a minimum of $150 for two hours, regardless of whether you spend all the time or not.

Another thing we like is that Lynne is highly informative and competent when it comes to her performance and care for her clients. She gladly addresses all your concerns and questions without making you feel overwhelmed or judged, which we appreciate.
