Their security protocols are incredible as well. We like that they have clean room facilities and can give you additional peace of mind that your data is secured using tools that aren’t connected to the internet.

Plus, their data recovery technicians have signed an NDA agreement to ensure no information leaks! The monitored alarm system in their rooms is also worth highlighting.

Service-wise, we like the variety of options. Not only do they recover data from hard drives but also from mobile phones and devices with water damage.

Our only gripe is they’re closed three times a week. Nonetheless, their customer support team is available 24/7.

These guys make it affordable, as much as possible. They offer a free 2 months of backup storage, free shipping after recovery, and a No Data, No Fee policy!

Drives Doctor Data Recovery Lab has it all. They offer data recovery for hard drives, PC, mobile devices, memory cards, and USB sticks—that’s a lot!

Their specialisation impressed us because they can work on simple and complex tasks. Most clients we spoke with had successful data recoveries, even on devices they thought were far gone.

We want to highlight their emergency services because it makes them accessible. And although they’re closed on weekends, that’s all right since they make up for it with their same-day pickup for rush services.

Additionally, we appreciate the free media pickup in the Greater Vancouver Area, even though their shop is in Surrey. However, this only applies to selected places.

Looking at their rates, they’re reasonable. It’s awesome they offer free evaluations and don’t charge for unsuccessful recoveries.

The customer service is also worth mentioning. From what we’ve observed, their technicians knew how to explain the process clearly, which is awesome for non-techie clients.

We love how accessible SafeKeep Data Recovery is. Their shop is in downtown Vancouver, but the best part is they accept walk-ins!

Their offerings are extensive since they’re a full-service shop. They recover data from all computer operating systems, all hard drive brands and interfaces, and all file formats—that’s an impressive list, except they don’t do mobile devices.

We also appreciate their clean room, which is a Class 100 dust-free place that ensures your media is safe from particles. Plus, we like their security protocols, including NDAs and destruction of the device after a month.

It’s really the fast turnaround times that sealed the deal, as most clients received their data faster than they thought they would. Unfortunately, they’re closed on weekends, but the free shipping for unopened hard drives makes up for it!

Their prices are decent—not too cheap but not too expensive either. Given their efficient service, we can’t complain!

The thing about Secure Data Recovery is they’re easy to reach. They’re only a couple of minutes downtown and they accept walk-ins—convenient!

It’s cool that their partnership with Memory Express makes them available in other locations in Vancouver. On top of that, they have 24/7 emergency services and their shop is open seven days a week!

We also appreciate the wide variety of services they offer. They provide data recovery for hard drives, SSDs, tape media, and iPhones.

Furthermore, they recover data from cleanrooms to prevent dust and other organisms from entering your device. It’s also nice they have remote and on-site labs.

From what we’ve seen, their turnaround times have been fast, which clients have mentioned too. Their standard service is usually done between five to nine days—an impressive timeframe!

However, their customer service could use an upgrade, particularly when keeping clients in the loop—but these seem to be one-offs. Still, the 96% success rate balances it out.

When it comes to safety, we appreciate their Class 100 facilities, which are equipped with all the right tools, like infrared soldering stations.

However, we do think that they could improve their communication skills, especially when keeping clients informed throughout the process.

On the positive side, they do try to offer the most affordable solutions. They have a huge inventory of replacement parts for various devices, eliminating any additional costs.
