A one-stop destination for permanent makeup in Calgary is the clean and well-maintained studio of Beauty by B. The safety protocols here are super extra, which is a very good thing.

They have complete PMU services, like microblading, powder brows, eyeliner tattoos, and lip tattoos. They even offer emergency removals for botched work, which is a very helpful service.

We like that they also have Levels 1, 2, and 3 PMU artists. They each have different rates, which we appreciate because they have budget-friendly artists.

Plus, it means you can choose your preferred artist. But we have to say that their Level 3 artist has limited availability.

Nonetheless, they are available six days a week. It does allow busy clients to pick a weekend appointment.

Price-wise, we found them within the normal range in Calgary. For instance, a level 1 artist charges $300 for a lip blush.

Blink is one of our favourite studios for many reasons. One is their place is always clean and has a warm vibe, which adds to the overall experience.

They’re also very welcoming and easy to approach. We appreciate these qualities because you can easily talk to them regarding your permanent makeup preferences.

Their services are for eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. That includes corrections and removals in case you previously got a botched work, which is very helpful.

A standout aspect is they only create natural-looking results to enhance beauty. We love that their work is not overdone, which you can definitely see from their portfolio.

Another thing we like is their price list. They’re very reasonable, starting at $500 for nano brows and $450 for natural lash enhancement.

We don’t find much of an issue, except they’re only open five days a week. But with the results, taking a day off is worth it.

Joielene Artistry was established by Amy Joielene, an internationally certified makeup artist. She has been in the PMU field for over seven years and has vast experience working in weddings, film, and fashion photography.

Besides her expertise, we applaud her for the variety of services she offers. Her studio is basically an all-in-one service because you can get any of your PMU needs.

She offers the usual eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip services. But she stands out because she also provides permanent makeup lightening and removal and colour correction.

Her prices are surprisingly reasonable for a PMU artist who delivers solid results. A session for nano brows is only $550, while removal starts at $150.

Her studio’s not the biggest but it’s fine. We actually appreciate the complete privacy since there won’t be any clients waiting inside.

Our only issue? She’s only available five days a week. She’s available on Saturdays, though.

Cinnamon Girl Clinic is not your typical permanent makeup clinic. They don’t stick to the usual services but offer way more, which allows you to get many treatments in one place.

They offer eyebrow microblading and shading, eyeliner tattoo, lip blush, scar camouflage, and scalp and hairline tattoo. You can also get other face and body services, like microneedling.

It’s awesome they’re also experts at PMU for men. We appreciate their skills because men and women have very different facial features and aesthetic needs.

We also appreciate their hygienic practices, one of the most important factors we assessed. This gave us even more confidence in their clinic.

But there’s a catch to all these: we found their prices are a tad higher. An initial appointment for a lip blush is from $1000 to $1300, but the silver lining is a touch-up is included in the price.
