Augusta Laundry was a name that we found out about through word of mouth. A lot of friends recommended it to us for its friendly customer service and high-quality wash and dry laundromat services.

Right off the bat, one of the best things about this laundromat is its wide variety of washing machines. It features different sizes to cater to different kinds of loads, whether it be large blankets to small clothing pieces.

Furthermore, we like that the machines at Augusta Laundry here are up-to-date, which means that customers can expect their laundry to be done quickly. Plus, in our books,  having state-of-the-art washing machines equates to fewer chances of malfunctions.

We also appreciate the efforts the shop owners made to maintain their customers’ comfort while they’re doing their laundry. For starters, they offer comfy chairs for those long waiting times as well as self-service coffee and snack machines.

More importantly, they offer free Wi-Fi so that customers can stay connected without using their cellular data. 

The only issue we can see that can rub people the wrong way is that the same-day services here cost additional. This can be a consideration, especially for those who don’t have that much time on their hands or those who travel a long way to get their laundry done.

When it comes to convenience, we found out that DoMyLaundry is one of the best options in Toronto. 

One reason for this is their online ordering system, which allows clients to schedule a pick-up time that works best for them. We appreciate these kinds of things, as they allow customers to cross out one less thing to worry about in their weekly schedule.

Something that we were surprised to see was their Household Laundry Credits, which sort of works like a monthly subscription. Some of the inclusions of these packages are free reusable laundry bags, wash services and guaranteed next-business-day returns.

We can also see DoMyLaundry being a top choice for business owners in Toronto, as they also offer commercial laundry services. They claim that their team can handle any size order and based on our surveys, DoMyLaundry is true to their words!

Lastly, we wanted to praise DoMyLaundry for their efforts to protect the globe by providing eco-friendly services. For instance, they use sustainable detergent to minimise the negative impacts of washing on the environment.

Something that didn’t sit well with us as well as some of our interviewees, however, was their rates. They’re charging a bit more compared to the average laundry costs in Toronto.

Also, we think that they could offer more facilities in their laundromat that would make their clients feel comfortable while waiting for their laundry.

Trendy Laundromat and Dry Cleaning offers one of the most complete sets of services we’ve seen in Toronto. They offer both residential and commercial wash and dry services, all of which use eco-friendly methods.

One of the ways they maintain their eco-friendliness is by using modern washing machines that use less electricity. Moreover, they claim to use detergents that have fewer chemical components.

They also live up to their name, as they provide trendy and modern methods that we don’t typically see in regular laundromats. A perfect example of this is their mobile payments, which means that you don’t scrounge up some coins to do your laundry. 

Speaking of scrounging up some coins, you also don’t have to worry if you only brought dollar bills thanks to their coin change machine!

We also appreciated how they offered more than just laundromat services like altering, garment repairs and leather cleaning. Usually, you’d have to go to a different business to get these things done, so having them in your laundromat is a huge convenience.

One thing that their clients didn’t like based on our surveys was that they require a minimum of 50 CAD for their pick-up and delivery. This is great for those who get all their laundry done in one load, but pricey for those who can’t meet the requirement.

Super Wash Coin Laundry is your typical coin laundromat, and we don’t mean anything bad with that claim. It’s a no-frills laundromat that features wash and dry services using coin-powered washing machines.

They also do a great job of keeping their customers comfortable while they’re waiting for their laundry. 

For instance, they offer vending and cappuccino machines to offer customers something to sip on while they’re reading a book, scrolling through social media, etc. Speaking of scrolling, they also offer free Wi-Fi, which is an instant A+ in our books. 

We noticed that their customers don’t have to wait too long though thanks to their state-of-the-art washing machines. Some of their past clients have gone on record to say that their laundry can be done as quickly as 60 minutes!

We also appreciated how they offered free pick-up and delivery for customers who are located within a 20 km radius of the laundromat.

One thing that we think they can improve upon is their selection of services. We felt that their services were a bit too sparse compared to other laundromats in the area.

However, if all you need is a place that can wash, dry and fold your clothes, this place is more than enough.

We think we can speak for everyone that doing laundry is one of the most bleak things you can do in your week. This is why we instantly gravitated towards Yummi Cafe Laundromat for its unique approach to doing laundry.

As you may have gleaned from its name, this laundromat also offers a wide array of coffee and non-coffee drinks for its customers. These drinks pair perfectly well with one of their sandwiches, which we heard good things about as well.

Furthermore, they also have a nice TV displayed on their laundromat so clients sit down and sip on their drinks while watching.

The overall laundromat itself is also well-maintained and features facilities that prioritize the customers’ comfort. This kind of cleanliness along with their delicious drinks, makes it a great chill spot, in general.

We were further impressed with this laundromat when we discovered their free laundry access program. This program aims to help those in financial need by providing free wash and dry services during specific days of the month.

Our only gripe with this laundromat is its limited operating hours compared to other laundromats in Toronto. Furthermore, they’re not open 7 days a week, which we could see bothering some customers who don’t have a lot of time on their hands.
